Discussions about the core internal design and implementation of the Scala system. This list is mainly used by developers who commit code to the Scala code base, but it is open to the general public in the interest of transparency. Please only post new threads if you commit to the Scala code base, and you need to discuss the internals of the Scala system.

Bug reports, feature requests, and general discussions should go to the other lists instead.

Thanks to Gmane, the Scala mailing lists are accessible using two kinds of Web interfaces (for instance "scala" as threads and as blog entriesand the NNTP (Usenet news) protocol. Gmane also provides a search engine to find old articles, and some statistics about the Scala mailing lists (i.e. scala).

Beginning with January 2011, we are migrating our mailing list services to Google Groups. You do not need a Google account in order to subscribe: you can also just send a message to <mailing-list>+subscribe@googlegroups.com.
