Scala in the Press

There are some excellent articles about Scala appearing in the press and they are often just what is needed to give a new developer or a busy manager a rapid introduction to Scala. Here are two that may help you satisfy a collegues curiosity quickly.

The first, "The Joy of Scala" appeared in JAXenter, was written by Jon Perry, Vince Kenealy and Peter O'Sullivan have, for several years, been providing Scala based Web solutions to enable UK government organisations communicate more effectively with the public.

The second, "An Introduction to Scala" appeared in the recent edition of "Better Software Magazine", written by Daniel Wellman an Agile leader at CyrusInnovation. You can find a PDF of the article on his blog.
