Scala and Summer@EPFL

Is the Scala team and LAMP taking students for the Summer@EPFL programme (http://ic.epfl.ch/SummerAtEPFL)? I applied this year but unfortunately got rejected. I will probably apply again next year, so I wanted to know whether it is possible to work on projects concerning Scala.

Right now we are too overloaded in absorbing a bunch of new grad students and running google summer of code. I believe for the time being we'll stick with Google summer of code. Maybe there wil be resources to run the EPFL program as well, but I can't guarantee that yet.
