repo: tickets in progress

I don't know how interesting this will be to anyone, but in the
interests of duplicating less effort I put my giant directory of "stuff
I did while looking into a scala ticket" online.

If someone wanted to be helpful, one very useful thing which could be
done is taking this from a bunch of ad hoc good-for-one-day experiments
to something with a "build" where everything fails, but where
(unwittingly) fixing a bug would cause that aspect of the build to
"fail" (by which I mean succeed, or at least change its behavior.)
