I, personally, would certainly consider a new JSON library. As Ismael states, the one in there is known to be slow.

As for Scalaz, I personally would want to wait for the Scalaz7 API to stabilize.  I think the type-trait domain has some readjustments to make.

There is no urgency, just a question to know if it was considered. So thanks for the reply !
