I think it safe to say that we have all benefited from his insights.

Re: Re: Tony has been found ok by the police

This case rises the question of the value of life per se.

And I hope that Tony will find again life worth living ... not only for our
sake.

I'd like to say that the Scala community has just proven to be much more responsive and caring then many "real" communities in which people live, at least here in the US.

No, you were not alone :)
Many congrats to all people in and out of the Scala community who were mobilized.

No, you were not alone :)
Many congrats to all people in and out of the Scala community who were mobilized.
Be well Tony!!!!. Get some rest and I hope we have you back in communication, with some flatMap thrown up to our faces, as usual :)

Re: Re: Tony has been found ok by the police

To me, Tony's stratospheric perspective on programming has been a vital component of the Scala community. I, for one, would very much appreciate its continuation.

Re: Re: Tony has been found ok by the police

I would like to add that if there's anything we can do to help Tony I'll be
glad to do it.

I've been reading Tony's issues with his ankle before it became unbearable
to him but I didn't think that would make him so desperate. If he decides to
go on with his life, I guess he's going to need a lot of support. And then
he may come back pester us with the peril of imperative programming!
