Interesting. I appreciated the link.

Re feature 2, "Reification": That catches me by surprise (but it would
be *awesome* if we didn't need to pass Manifests around to instantiate
Arrays) - don't recall seeing any discussion. Anyone able to provide
more info...?

No, this means manifests, but tied properly into reflection. In the future, manifests are just implicit wrappers around reflect.Types.
