Any experience with Scala on Nook Tablet?

I'm thinking of getting one of the new Nook Tablets for myself as a Christmas present, and while programming it is not my primary motivation, I'm nonetheless curious as to how easy (or possible) it would be to play around with it using Scala. As far as I can tell, it is possible in theory, but reality has a habit of trumping theory :-).
