Hi,

I recently started to use emacs and ensime and encountered a problem
when doing tab-completion.

Whenever completing I get a colored line which looks like this:

Any idea what's going on here?

Since the image/link you posted is titled "anyone sees this.." :)
No,  I don't see the issue you describe with tab-completion in general*.
This is my setup:
ensime_2.9.0-0.6.0.RC1
and
23.3.50.1 [aquamacs emacs]

*just a thought: does the magenta/pink line go away if you save the file after the tab-completion operation? If this is the case [it goes away], then yes, IMHO this is an area for improvement in ensime and it's error-highlighting feature (I haven't tried to see if there is a more recent version than mine that does not exhibit the issue)

I'm using 2.9.1-0.7.6 with emacs 23.3.1 on macosx and illumos. Both
setups show the
same behavior.

The pink line does not go away when saving the file. I have to quit
emacs and reopen the file to make it go away.

Upgrading to the current RC fixes the issue :)
