Overview:

QA Testing Consultant will be responsible for the testing, benchmarking, and support of the TESTING in a Data warehousing Project. This responsibility includes performance tuning, benchmarking the performance matrices, and identifying the bottlenecks. This resource will play a key role in the success of deploying the company vision for emerging technologies and growth strategies.

 

Requirements:

1.       Must have 5+ years experience in with HP Quality Center working with testing and development team members managing defects and process.  Test Plan - Test Strategy Development  including:

a.       Developing test cases from business requirements

                                                   i.      Experience validating and controlling the quality of QC documentation and status.

                                                  ii.      Experience with Quality Center tool

                                                iii.      People skills required to coordinate with defect owners, development team members, and facilitate resolution of defects.

                                                iv.      MS Excel expert managing extracts from QC to create reporting for team management

2.       Previous experience providing quality assurance test services for projects and systems for a ETL= BI/Data Warehouse projects including: Ab Initio or Informatica,

3.       Must have a strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies

4.       Ability to design and develop test cases and experience with automated or manual software testing processes/tools

5.       Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

6.       Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator

7.       Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.hi
