[Somewhat OT--how to use Quicksilver with Eclipse]
Sun, 2009-07-26, 00:42
I use the great Quicksilver plugin on the Mac, but unfortunately it
seems to be hard-wired to do something whenever I press control-space
(my setting is command-space), which interferes with Eclipse's code
completion. Anyone know how to cure this?
Thanks,
Ken

If you really can't change Quicksilver's keybindings then I think you
should file a bug with the Quicksilver developers.
You can however change Eclipse's keybindings to avoid ctrl-space:
Window => Preferences => General => Keys and then look for the
keybinding entry for "Content Assist".

Re: [Somewhat OT--how to use Quicksilver with Eclipse]
I've got a Mac and use both eclipse and Quicksilver, the keybinding I
use for QS is command-space while I use cntrl-space for auto-complete
on eclipse. No conflicts.
QS lets you change the keybinding too - look under its Preferences
menu, under "Command".

If you send me a Mac I'll look into it.
