ScalaDoc status

Hi,
I have question about status of ScalaDoc. It seems that it is missing
lot of features compared to JavaDoc.
Most importantly it does not handle overview.html and package.html.
What are plans for ScalaDoc in 2.8?
There is other project which seems to be supporting all of this:
