Who's in SoCal on this list?
Fri, 2010-04-09, 05:49
I'm down in the OC, and feeling lonely where Scala's concerned. I'm pretty sure James Iry's lurking around here somewhere... Anyone up for a meetup in the near future?

Re: Who's in SoCal on this list?
Hi
I am on the border of Los Angeles and Ventura county -- the northern outskirts of the vast southern california wasteland :-)
I have just started hacking around with Scala (for some natural language stuff (a hobby), and for some OWL and RDF stuff), although have a long and deep background in Haskell, O'Caml, Erlang, and Java, so it's pretty comfortable for me.
[My interests are in OWL, RDF, semantic web stuff, user interfaces, and data integration. Trying to start a startup in this area -- drop me a line if you are interested]

scala. i'm up for a scala meetup in the future. i would love to
hear how people are using the scala in their projects.

I'm in San Diego, I would be surprised if there was no one from LA on this list.
