RC2?
Mon, 2010-04-26, 11:34
Hi all,
I'd like to get some sense when it would be useful to come out with an RC2. After the fixes to specialization and several other bug fixes we are in fairly good shape now, as far as I can see. I'd like to freeze trunk for (say) 3 days before the release date so that interested parties can pre-test their code against a nightly. One of the possible candidates for such a freeze would be the nightly of this Tuesday/Wednesday. If you think this is too early, let us know.
I am still a bit concerned about the lift build. So any progress on this one would help a lot.
Cheers

Once there are builds of Specs, ScalaTest and ScalaCheck against 2.8 nightlies, I'll do a branch of Lift for 2.8 nightly.
