zip tease

Dear Scalarazzi,
In this latest blog post i've provided some background and analysis of the two principal updates to Huet's original zipper proposal. As i mention there, there are essentially two proposals for making the original zipper generic: one abstracts on structure, the other abstracts on control. Both of these approaches have pretty high interest for folks designing functional web apps, generally, and Scala web apps more specifically, as i discuss there. This is a "no code" post in preparation for several "deep dive" code posts, so stay tuned.
Best wishes,
--greg
