Lift 2.8.0 in Scala-tools is upgrading to RC3
Sat, 2010-05-29, 17:58
Folks,
If you are using the Lift 2.8.0 (2.0-scala280-SNAPSHOT) code, please update your pom.xml/SBT properties file to use Scala 2.8.0.RC3 (instead of 2.8.0.Beta1). I have just switched the Lift 2.8.0 code to use Scala RC3.
Please also give as much feedback as you can on this version as possible. Let's work to get EPFL any defects we find so they can address any issues and get to 2.8.0 final ASAP.
Thanks,
David

Thanks for the port :)
I just upgraded to Scala 2.8.0.RC3 and everything seems to be OK with
our application .
It only uses Lift core, so it isn't a broad indicator. Nonetheless, I
will report any problem I could encounter.

Great! Thanks for the update. I hope we are entering the final lap towards 2.8 now.
