Lift works well against 2.8.0-RC6

Folks,

I have done a build and smoke test of Lift against Scala 2.8.0-RC6.  The build went fine and the smoke test passed just fine.  I went as far as putting the code live on http://demo.liftweb.net/index which gets about 10 hits per second, so we'll see how well things go under moderate load.

Once there's a build of Specs against 2.8.0-RC6, I'll switch the Lift 2.8 branch over to using RC6.

I'm encouraged by this release... it "feels" good (no substantive data to back that up other than warm fuzzies.)

Thanks,

David

Thanks for the quick feeedback, David!
