Problem (PermGenSpace) in current Eclipse nightly
Wed, 2010-07-14, 13:58
Hello all,
I know there is a new site for the Eclipse plugin but could not find a
mailing list there so I drop this here:
I just updated my Eclipse Scala plugin
(http://download.scala-ide.org/nightly-update-master-trunk) to the current
nightly version. My main Scala project which used to build perfectly before
now no longer builds. Eclipse fails with a PergGen space error and I have to
close the IDE. I have tried several times but after every clean-project the
build fails this way.
Strangely enough I had the same thing earlier when I worked with a 1.7ea JVM
after which a reverted to 1.6u21, which then solved the issue. I have tried
increasing the PermGen space for Eclipse but to no avail.
Any suggestions?
Gr. Silvio
