Problem with NetBeans 6.9.1 Scala plugin
Thu, 2011-01-20, 19:12
Hi all,
After doing the latest update to my NetBeans 6.9.1 from the Update Centers, I got the following when starting NetBeans:
Warning - could not install some modules: Scala Editor - The module Parsing API was requested in implementation version "5" but only "6" was found. Scala Core - The module Parsing API was requested in implementation version "5" but only "6" was found. 6 further modules could not be installed due to the above problems.
I removed the Scala Kit module and tried installing the latest NetBeans scala plugin from http://sourceforge.net/projects/erlybird/files/nb-scala/6.9v1.1.0/nb-scala-6.9v1.1.0.zip/download. This is what I get when I try to install:
The plugin Editor Library is requested in version >= 2.1 (release version 2) but only 3.4.0.11.5 (of release version different from 2) was found. The plugin Parsing API is requested in implementation version 4.
Any ideas what the problem might be (and how to fix it)?
Thanks,-Mario.

I want to change the world but they won't give me the source code.
