sbt Kudos: sbt is to Maven as Scala is to Java

I just wanted to say, sbt is great! I don't have much experience with it, but what I do have has been very positive. The ability to define tasks using concise, clear code really makes things easy. I grabbed a bit of code to assemble jar files from a site (can't remember to give credit I'm afraid), and it's just so easy to modify such a task to handle one's own cases, as compared to trying to do things through the "standard" build systems.
