Where is SCALA_HOME in the Netbeans plug-in

hi,

if i want to use the scalac compiler that the netbeans plug-in uses,
from the commandline, how would i do that...? i searched my file
system but i have no clue where that particular scala install for
netbeans is located. do i have to install scala binaries separately,
if i need to run scalac from the terminal?
