JAX Innovation Awards

I’d just like to let you know about the new Worldwide JAX Innovation
Awards have been launched to recognize innovation in the entire java
ecosystem.

There are 3 categories:
• Most Innovative Java Technology
• Most Innovative Java Company
• Top Java Ambassador

Anyone (and hopefully everyone) can nominate candidates for these
categories, which will then be narrowed down to a shortlist of 5 by an
expert panel. The panel will also determine the winner of a
Special Jury Award category. Voting will then open to determine a
winner which will be announced at JAX Conf 2011, in San Jose.

The winner in each category will receive recognition as best-in-class
as determined by their industry peers, and a cash prize of $2,500 will
be provided to each winner by Software & Support Media.

To make these awards a success we would like everyone involved with
java to nominate and vote on who they think deserves special
recognition.
