Anyone successfully developed for Nook Color?

I wouldn't mind playing around with Scala/Android, but don't want to spend $600 for a Xoom or equivalent. So I was wondering if anyone had success (even with "top" apps) developing with Scala on the Nook Color?

Any feedback appreciated.
