Folks,

It looks like there will be 5 Scala-specific presentations at JavaOne this year.

Woo Hoo!

Thanks,

David

The speakers can see what is being presented:
- A Lift BoF
- Michael Galpin is presenting on alternative JVM languages (*cough* Scala *cough*)
- Martin is doing the Script bowl
- Bill Venners is doing the feel of Scala
- Bill and Philipp Haller are doing Actors

Re: It'll be a Scala-rama @ JavaOne this year
Folks,
I talked to Martin and it looks like we're going to once again do the Scala Lift Off (Scala and Lift user conference) on the Saturday after JavaOne (June 6th).
I'll make a more formal announcement when I get the Scala Lift Off web site up and running.
Please make travel plans accordingly.
Thanks,
David

Re: It'll be a Scala-rama @ JavaOne this year
It's not easy to search the sessions on "Scala" since the obvious search brings back "scalable," "scalability," and variants.  But these 3 queries seem to cover all of the sessions that mention Scala in their description.  "Feel of Scala" matches two of them, sorry for the duplicate.  Reply if I missed any.

I propose Scala Lift Off Stage 2. I hope to make it again this year.
