+: is strange

This is such a long thread hard to jump in and not lose context:

+1 to a single page of helper functions all in one spot not easily googled for. Everything from ! To +: the whole kit and caboodle up high in the docs around getting started " cheat sheet to Scala helper functions short cuts to success" . It will only help make the esotericism go away and bring this great language further into the light ( queue Gloria Estefan's coming out of the dark .... now)
